July 12 Opening, ARC Gallery, San Francisco

Please come and see my new work, Curiosity/Prohibition/Envy, in the “Collage-a-Rama” Exhibition at the Project Gallery, Arc Gallery & Studios in San Francisco. This piece is a large book, 29" wide and 14" high when open, comprised of 18 inter-related collages. Some of the pages are pictured above and below.

"Collage-a-Rama” features collages made by local artists during the Collage-a-Rama collage-making sessions at Arc Gallery in 2014. The community, support and cool collage materials provided by the participating artists made this work possible.

Opening Reception on Saturday, July 12th 7-9PM
Exhibition:  July 12th - August 9th

Arc Gallery & Studios
1246 Folsom Street, San Francisco
between 8th & 9th, Civic Center BART

Some new work, some old work, some troublesome work. My theme for this year, or perhaps for this decade is:
PRETTY OBJECTS MADE FROM SINISTER MATERIALS
dites-moi

I have also put together a photo book of my visual ruminations on this topic from the last 3 years and you can find it posted on both my blog (March 11) and my Facebook Wall. Or just come to Open Studios and see the originals.
